Upcoming New Owner of FitVermogen, Velthuyse & Mulder Vermogensbeheer (VMVB)
We are pleased to inform you that Velthuyse & Mulder Vermogensbeheer will, subject to closing conditions, become the new owner of FitVermogen, intended to be effective in January 2026. VMVB has been servicing retail clients for over 25 years, is focused on the Dutch market and is also the owner of investing platform, Doelbeleggen.nl. VMVB is supervised by the AFM (Dutch Authority for Financial Markets), DNB (Dutch Central Bank) and AP (Dutch Data Protection Authority).

For Doelbeleggen.nl, adding FitVermogen to its service offering fits their ambition to be a market leader in Dutch direct retail investing and they believe it provides a strong vantage point for further growth in line with its strategic objectives. This acquisition for them is in response to the growing demand for personal wealth accumulation and online investment solutions as the Dutch pensions market moves towards more individualised pensions.

What does this mean for FitVermogen customers?
The Goldman Sachs fund offering provided through FitVermogen will remain the same and the funds will continue to be managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). Our customers’ account number and current investments will be migrated to a platform operated and managed by, Doelbeleggen.nl. The FitVermogen brand and all related products (incl. FitVoorLater) will remain unchanged.

New Terms and Conditions to be introduced by VMVB
With a new owner of FitVermogen, an adjusted set of Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) will apply upon transfer. Clients will receive more information from VMVB regarding these T&Cs, including the introduction of a service fee, in the coming months. In addition, to ensure the safekeeping of our clients’ investments on FitVermogen, assets in custody will move to Stichting Collectieve Beleggersgiro, which is the beleggersgiro of Doelbeleggen.nl.

Introduction of the “O” share class in respect of certain funds
Separately, another share class known as the “O” share class will be made available in respect of certain funds on FitVermogen. A characteristic of the “O” share class is that it will have a lower management fee compared to the other share classes of these funds. You will receive a separate communication from FitVermogen that provides more information regarding the “O” share class. The "O" share class will be made available via FitVermogen prior to the envisaged new ownership.

What action(s) do our customers need to take?
No immediate action is needed. We will keep our customers informed about the transfer and any developments that may be relevant. We will also notify our customers of any automatic actions that may occur to make this transition convenient.

To facilitate the transfer, it will not be possible to place any trading orders during a limited period of time at the end of the year. We will inform clients about the exact dates of this freeze period in due course.

As part of the change of ownership, personal data will be transferred to the new owner in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information about how GSAM handles personal data and rights under the GDPR, please refer to FitVermogen’s Privacy Statement.
